The Secure Food Solutions team includes scientists and sales executives with many years of experience in food safety and agribusiness. R&D for the rapid microbial tests is led by Dr. Vanja King who, together with Dr. Steve Bryant and Judy Bowen, has decades of experience turning microbiology and chemistry R&D into innovative products, including the development of rapid methodologies for microorganism growth, detection and control. R&D for the aflatoxin sorter is led by Chris Ramezanpour and Drs. Cole and Jordan in collaboration with scientists and engineers at Mississippi State University.

Dean Didato – Over 30 years of sales management, marketing and business development experience in the control of microorganisms in food, agriculture and other applications, including the U.S. meat and poultry processing sector.

Haibo, Yao, PhD (Mississippi State University) - Associate Research Professors, Geosystems Research Institute; Remote sensing and engineering solutions for agricultural, biomedical, food safety, environmental applications, GPS and GIS, algorithm development, instrumentation.

Deepak Bhatnagar, PhD (USDA ARS) - Center Director for USDA ARS Southern Regional Research Center (New Orleans, LA). Dr. Bhatnagar has been an advisor to the research on the underlying technology for UV fluorescence-based detection of maize contaminated with aflatoxin from the beginning.
